Prof. (Dr.) Preeti Kothiyal
Principal/Director

M.Pharm (Pharmacology), Ph.D. Member Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Vice-President, Indian Pharmaceutical Asso.(IPA) State Branch

An alumnus of erstwhile Hamdard College of Pharmacy, Delhi University (now Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi) is a M.Pharm and Ph.D in Pharmacology. A dynamic personality, highly disciplined with a great academic record. Prof. Preeti has a vast experience of 24yrs in academics and research. She has more than 100 research publication in various National and International Journals of repute, and has presented research articles at various Conference and Seminars of academic interest.

Prof. Preeti has supervised more than 50 PG Students for their dissertation work and is presently guiding 03 Research Scholars for their doctoral thesis. Her areas of interest include Psychoph-armacology, Behavioural Studies, Screening of Folk lore traditional plants of Himalayas, Clinical and Community Pharmacy practice and Pharmacovigilance.

She is a member of the Central council of Pharmacy Council of India and has been actively involved in various Committees for the upgradation of Pharmacy Education in India.

Prof. Preeti has been nominated to the committee for prevention, control and supervision of experiments on animals (CPCSEA), Govt. of India.

Prof. Preeti is Vice President of IPA Uttarakhand State branch and Coordinator- Uttarakhand Chapter of Society for Ethnopharmacology-India.

She has been instrumental in setting Pharmacovigilance Center (ADR Monitoring Center) under the National Pharmacovigilance programmes of India in her state.

Prof. Preeti has chaired numerous technical sessions and delivered talks at national and International Conferences.

In pursuit of Excellence in academics and research, Prof. Preeti has been striving hard and has organized International and National Conferences and Workshops in her parent state- Uttarakhand. She is associated with several Universities as Examiner, Visiting Faculty and PhD. Guide.

Presently Prof. Preeti is also the Director of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science.

 
Dr. Ganesh Kumar

M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics), Ph.D

Has 11 years Industrial experience in QC and QA with Zydus Cadila and 10 years of teaching experience. His areas of interest and expertise in validation, include documentation and Novel Drug Delivery systems. He has 35 research publications in national & international journals. He is a life member of APTI, International Society for Ethnopharmacology, United Kingdom & IPA. Supervised 11 PG students for their dissertation work. Authored two book on Pharmaceutics.

Has 13 years experience of teaching UG/PG students. Specialization in Medicinal Chemistry, Analysis, Bio chemistry, Organic Chemistry. supervised M.Pharm students for their project work. Life Member of APTI & International Society for Ethnopharmacology, United Kingdom. Highly motivational, a teacher to the core expertise in handling sophisticated instruments and specialized in computer aided drug design.

Has 11 years experience of teaching UG/PG students and skilled in handling UV, IR and HPLC. Has expertise in organic and Medical chemistry. Guided 13 students of PG and has 5 publication in national journal and one presentation in International symposium (DDPRBelgaum 2006). He is a life member of APTI (Uttarakhand) & International Society for Ethnopharmacology, United Kingdom.

Specialist in experimental techniques related to Pharmacology. An expert in Brain stroke model & Ischaemia models of experimental Pharmacology.

Has academic experience of teaching pharmaceutical chemistry for 10 yrs. She has published eleven research papers in national, international journals and presented seventeen papers in national and international conferences. She received first prize in poster presentation in National Symposium on Emerging trends in Biomedical Science, 2009 Dehradun. She is also a life member of APTI & international society for Ethnopharmacology, United Kingdom. Her area of specializaiton in synthetic chemistry.

Has Academic experience of teaching Pharmaceutical Analysis of 10 yrs. He has research experience in field of "Method Development and validation by UV Spectroscopy and HPLC". He has published twenty research papers in national, international journals and presented twenty two papers at national and international conferences. He is also a life member of APTI & International Society for Ethnopharmacology, United Kingdom. Has strong analytical acumen and has developed and validated for various methods by UV & HPLC. Is dextrous in handling various analytical equipment.

Has expertise in Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, Indigenous drugs, Herbal Drug Technology and Herbal Formulations. Has 10 years of experience in academics and research and published twenty research papers at National Journals and six research papers at International Journals (Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, USA & Bulgaria) also presented thirteen research papers at National Conferences and sixteen research papers at International conferences and attended two National Seminars and three Workshops. He is a reviewer for the Elsevier Editorial System (EES) - the online submission and peer review tracking system for African Journal of Urology. He was also selected for one week training program jointly conducted by AICTE and UGC. He is also associated as life member in APTI and Society of Pharmacognosy, India.

Dr. Joshi has completed his Pharm D from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka. His research interests are in the areas of Outcome research, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacoepidemiology, Managed care and public health. He is highly enthusiastic, adaptive and fast-learning person with a broad and acute interest in the clinical research. He particularly enjoys collaborating with people from different disciplines to develop new skills and solve new challenges.

Expertise in handling of PERP (Software). He has also attended national conference. He is a member of International Society for Ethnopharmacology.
