Two day learning module on Pharmacy practice was structured with the objective of providing the basis for a clinical pharmacist to care for a
patient with common cardiovascular diseases. This module was designed to inculcate knowledge to Clinical Pharmacist and Pharm.D students
regarding identifying and critically assessing the relevant factors for the management of patients with cardiovascular disease, optimizing
cardiovascular drug therapy, providing appropriate advice to patient and other healthcare professionals regarding disease prevention, risk
reduction, and disease management including drug therapy.
In this anticipation, Pharmacy Practice Module- I was organized by Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Mrs. Archna Mudgal, Registrar-cum-Secretary,
Pharmacy Council of India, was the Chief guest to grace the event. Top most Cardiologist of Dehradun Dr. Amit Verma, Professor & Head Department of Medicine,

session with their magnificent expertise.
